Russia will throw a parade for Putin the day before what few remaining Ukrainians will tear Zelensky apart with their bare hands and teeth?

Conservatively there are 200k Ukrainian soldiers dead. The country is a parking lot. Despite what your BlackRock overlords tell you, there is no chance of recovery. Anyone ethnically Ukrainian will be absorbed in 3 decades of having to leave their lauded country. You know, the flag you fly on your lawn that's now nothing more than a grave marker.

Zelensky will sneak off into obscurity for a decade or two, grow a beard and come back with his Nazi rebellion al a the Taliban, Al Qadea, ISIS etc when it's convenient for the US to gin up the next crisis.

Considering what we have been told about the demographics.....

...that the Western "half" (could be 60%, could be 75%...) of Ukraine haaaates the Eastern "half."
And that a good chunk of the Eastern "half" just wants to leave and be let alone.

It sounds like anyone who would put forth a plan, depending upon your point of view, either to throw of all those nasty Eastern Russians out of Ukraine, or to allow the People of The Donbass to be free (same plan, different phrasing)......

...would probably get a sizable portion of the vote from both Eastern and Western Ukraine.
Which from what I have seen, is not that easy a thing to do.

Interesting you say that...

In the election where Z won it was mostly in part of central and all of East Ukr BECAUSE he espoused peace in Donbass and some form of negotiated separation... Bait and switch almost immediately.

In the urban Central and West Ukr however, they heavily voted for the foaming at the mouth hatred and purge from our land those Donbass Russians candidate...

🤔💁

Excerpt:

Ukraine stans and democracy fans will tell you that Putin is Sauron, Darth Vader, and Voldemort all rolled up into one. Which is why some were cheering on Wagner mercenaries in what they believed was an attempted coup.

Has to be a little awkward then that Putin will likely answer to his people in elections before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky answers to his.

In a recent interview with the BBC, Zelensky reaffirmed that there will not be elections in Ukraine until the war comes to an end. “Elections must take place in peacetime, when there is no war, according to the law. I really want there to be peace in the next year, and life to be as it was before the war.”

(Cocaine fantasies)

"We must suspend democracy to protect democracy. I as your leader am willing to hold office without elections for as long as that takes."

You know, if the United States had that sort of a law, we would see a lot more wars in the latter half of leap years.....

Elections must take place in peacetime, when there is no war, according to the law.

If that is the case, then how can this possibly be surprising? Wouldn't they have known this in 2022?

What would happen if Putin offered a cease fire long enough for there to be a Ukrainian election?
(That's just the trollish type of thing he might do.)

That would put The Big Z in the position of refusing a cease fire.
