Because many of them really don’t really care about democracy. For them, democracy is something that can give them a figure like Trump, so they determined that the masses can no longer be trusted to practice it.

Warning: Putin is paying for and promoting Bubbie Kennedy Jr, cornel west and marianne, all three of them. he also ran Tulsi Gabbard for potus in 2020 (her own campaign manager admitted she was 100% funded by Putin), Bernie Sanders 2016 got a huge boost from Putin using Gabbard and millions of Bernie brah Hillary hating trolls, Putin ran Rand Paul who McCain called a Russian agent twice, and Putin tried but failed to run kanye West and maybe Tyucker Carlson.
Putin's only hope for survival is to somehow rig in trump or Desatanis (both of whom he rigged in, DS with the Florida hack and malware which was never removed) and then have them defund Ukraine and NATO. So besides pushing them, he pushes these ridiculous fringe "democrats" though west hates Obama and Bubbie spits on his father's grave.
Putin effectively owns both the defunct Green Party and the defunct Libertarians. Jill Stein was his Green puppet in 2016 and siphoned off enough votes from Hillary to let Putin steal it. Now she is working with cornel west to try to do the same.
Also, neither West, Williamson nor Bubbie are fit to run anything.

Putin has now run 7 candidates for US president; trump (twice), Desatanis, Rand Paul, Tulsi Gabbard (and will push her for VP next year), Bubbie II, Jill Stein, Williamson and Cornel West (who Stein is running).
Putin also tried to run Kanye West (handled by Russian agent Candace owens) and considered running Tucker Carlson. Josh Hawley is another Putin might run, he is very pro Putin and anti Ukraine-US national security.

Wow. Honestly it sounds like one of my co-workers. He brought in donuts a couple of weeks ago, something he rarely does, to celebrate MSNBC beating Fox in daytime ratings or some such nonsense. He thought it was a sign of people finally coming around to the truth. He's more than happy to spout "received opinions" because it's much easier than thinking for himself. He's a member of the MSNBC sect of the Democratic party and he's happy to accept all their views as his own. He knows Putin is pulling all the strings.

I don't think Williamson is a decent candidate, but this is ugly. The DNC is circling the drain, hopefully this election will finally show the normies how corrupt and worthless it is.

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. The Circle D Corporation is showing these young people who they are. Only when the Uniparty is forced to come out as the single entity it is, will we be able build something as real opposition to it.

Doubling down on protecting their owners meat puppet, and showing their asses in the process, will only turn away more of the "pragmatic" voters who have kept Democrats Inc. on life support as the only "viable" option to their Republican colleagues in our owners two choice selectoral system.

If they can turn away the young before they've been ruined by partisan theatrics, more power to them.

Personally, I think they're actively trying to lose. Nobody trying to convert hearts and minds into votes, can possibly be this inept and tone deaf.

Unless they throw Gavin into the mix...

For the DNC to do this is completely expected. What's disappointing to see is the young leaders in the high school organization placidly going along with the party's orders. No questioning, no independent thought, just existing in the comfort zone of the tribal hive mind.
