In act 3, Prigozhin will enlist in Wagner to reduce his sentence

Title is from RT.

I wonder what happened.

I think Wagner lost a lot of credibility in Russia

Perhaps many of the Wagner forces who were deployed thought they were doing a military redistribution and weren't even aware they were heading to Moscow? Perhaps things failed quickly after they realized it was a coo and not a redeployment.

Or maybe in private, head of Wagner got paid more or got certain assurances?

Things are confusing in the fog of war, but I don't know if we've seen the end of the head of Wagner

I'd expect a lot of the men caught wind of this and lost faith. We'll have to see how the rank and file move forward.

I'd wager that those who "enlisted" to dodge a prison sentence, would be less than motivated to sign up for a death sentence.

@alexandrosM:

Remember the OG russiagate troll farm? The Internet Research Agency?

Do you know its creator was Prigozhin?

Watching the west cheer on the founder of the most notorious troll farm is some sort of founder redemption arc I'm not entirely familiar with, but definitely here for.

Small world and all that.

But don't forget: everything is just coincidences.

Just when ukrainazi fanboys were still in the middle of cumming in their already stained pants. So cruel.

I find this really odd. What is going on with Prigozhin's Wagner?

He's been complaining for months and my feeling he was doing it to get weapons for a coo

Scott Ritter said the Russian intelligence arrested pro-ukraine cells. They were going to do civilian terrorist attacks to stir confusion, only two days before Prigozhin announced coo

The war has dragged on for an extremely long time. He may be frustrated with the slow progress. The snail like pace of the invasion has probably led to many more casualties on the Russian side than there would have been otherwise. It is said that Putin is doing it this way because he does not want to outright destroy Ukraine

an extremely long time.

The US was in Afghanistan for 20 years. Compared to that, not so long.

The snail like pace of the invasion has probably led to many more casualties on the Russian side than there would have been otherwise.

I've seen the opposite claimed. By moving slowly, the Russians let Ukraine/NATO counter-attack and get slaughtered by entrenched Russian forces. Attacking fast exposes troops and requires expensive logistics.

It does not seem logical that allowing Ukraine to repeatedly counterattack for years on end would reduce Russian causalties

If that does happen, at 1/3rd the population Ukraine is going to run out of men before Russia does.

Then again, there's nothing stopping them from press ganging women. Other than common decency.

I thought that the Soviets (Ukrainian and Russian) had no problems with women in the military.

AFAIK they never ever put conscripted women in front line combat. Once you cross that bridge it is tantamount to genocide.

Would you rather be inside the castle shooting out, or outside the castle shooting in? Troy could have lasted indefinitely if it hadn't been for that damn horse.

Fighting from a defensive position tend to give the defender a 3 to 1 advantage. If the goal is to demilitarize Ukraine, that's a good way to go about it.

Especially when you know that there's a constant flow of cash going into the coffers of the attacking forces.

Might just as well wait for the cash flow to dry out first. Russia isn't where taxpayer money is bleeding out. We are the ones being robbed blind, again.

When the guy in charge is a mercenary, a troll manager and a rich cunt, trying to predict his actions by applying any kind of rational framework to him is a losing battle.

I agree, but this was crazy thing to do. Like he doesn't care about his life. The next few months are going to be very curious.

Azov battalion are very dangerous and killed too many civilians in Eastern Ukraine for around 8 years. They are supported by CIA and Ukraine government of post-Maidan coo
