Four million bucks almost amounts to real money for you and me, but Jamie could dig that much out of his couch cushions without even troubling JP Morgan about it. I mean, he won't, but the point is, a four million-dollar fine is not something JP Morgan is going to miss much. I have a feeling it's not going to miss those emails, either.

Just the cost of doing businesses vs retaining evidence of wrongdoing. Corporations and politicians all play this game with “fall guy” interns held in reserve should they be required.
