Also, I thought our community was back? There's only a post every few days such here, I liked checking the New vids everyday on the Old WPD like it was part of my morning routine, Check the news, Check the weather, Check emails, Check facebook, Check what fucking idiots died in crazy ways overnight, I'm gonna start looking for new videos to post here daily and hopefully we can get it back like it was

This video is a classic, thank you.

I feel the same way.

Most people can't be bothered to move from Reddit sadly

It's weird, the growth here seems to have somewhat stagnated, but on /s/death there are even fewer submissions yet it continues to grow. I think we just need to get the word out more somehow. I'm not sure how we'd reach the old community though

Mention it to people on reddit, I guess.

I found out y'all are keeping it going over here in a thread on /r/conspiracy.

I'm going to be posting a lot because I want our community back!... That feels weird to type, but I honestly miss /r/watchpeopledie

I think with a smaller community the mods would have to post more to ensure fresh content.

Damn, I feel bad for the guy who threw the punch. They're just a bunch of teenagers, there's no way to have seen that coming. He'll carry that for life. Even fighting without headgear doesn't usually lead to an instant death like this. It was a good punch to the jaw, but certainly not something anyone would consider lethal. I can only wonder if maybe the guy had a brain aneurysm that ruptured from the punch. Having a seizure is consistent with this.

As for the guy who threw the punch, I can only imagine the guilt he must feel for killing someone who is presumably his friend. It kind of reminds me of a one-in-a-million freak accident kind of death that happened at another elementary school in my district when I was in third grade. I've only heard this story through second-hand accounts, so I don't know if the finer details are completely accurate. Basically, some kids were throwing around a football at recess and on one pass, it struck a kid in the chest with apparently perfect timing and placement and literally stopped his heart right then and there.

My best friend actually happens to have attended that school at the time it happened. She sat across from him in class and was on the field when he died. Her dad is a doctor and explained it to me, but I still find that a little hard to believe to be honest. She said that the guy who threw the football was actually kind of a bully to the kid who died. I later learned that the kid who threw the ball was a classmate in high school. I always wanted to ask him about it, but I didn't feel like I knew him well enough and from talking to his closest friends, they said it would be a bad idea even for them to bring up. I'm guessing he still carries at least some of that with him, even though it was an accident, but I haven't seen him in a number of years.

Also, don't do chest compressions on someone having a seizure lmao

So the five finger death punch is more then just a meme...interdasting.

I don't think he was having a seizure, this looked like the fencing response. It's a clear sign of brain injury.

Idk ive had about 12 gran mal seizures and thats exactly how my brother (who usually find me in the room) he said i would spazz out and make weird noises. Im just happy i didn't die or become mentally disabled, im on medication for it now

They look similar. With the fencing response, the main thing to watch for is the arm movement.

I wonder if they've at least trained to fight. Fighting without headgear is very dangerous, especially when performed outside a ring without any nearby medical assistance on hand.

The black dude was caught with a good footswitch counter hook to the jaw. That definitely had a lot of power in it as you can see the white dude use his right foot to push on the ground and launch that hook to the jaw.

I'm not sure if performing CPR during a seizure like that was a good idea. Aren't people having a seizure supposed to be left alone or sitting? Anyway, the guy definitely had some kind of brain damage there. I hope he didn't suffer and he was just knocked unconscious without pain by that one attack.

You’re supposed to turn them on their sides too so they don’t choke on their own vomit. Not much could have been done, but everyone involved handled the situation in almost every wrong way possible.

It looked like his neck snapped. Tragic way to go.
