Damn, I feel bad for the guy who threw the punch. They're just a bunch of teenagers, there's no way to have seen that coming. He'll carry that for life. Even fighting without headgear doesn't usually lead to an instant death like this. It was a good punch to the jaw, but certainly not something anyone would consider lethal. I can only wonder if maybe the guy had a brain aneurysm that ruptured from the punch. Having a seizure is consistent with this.

As for the guy who threw the punch, I can only imagine the guilt he must feel for killing someone who is presumably his friend. It kind of reminds me of a one-in-a-million freak accident kind of death that happened at another elementary school in my district when I was in third grade. I've only heard this story through second-hand accounts, so I don't know if the finer details are completely accurate. Basically, some kids were throwing around a football at recess and on one pass, it struck a kid in the chest with apparently perfect timing and placement and literally stopped his heart right then and there.

My best friend actually happens to have attended that school at the time it happened. She sat across from him in class and was on the field when he died. Her dad is a doctor and explained it to me, but I still find that a little hard to believe to be honest. She said that the guy who threw the football was actually kind of a bully to the kid who died. I later learned that the kid who threw the ball was a classmate in high school. I always wanted to ask him about it, but I didn't feel like I knew him well enough and from talking to his closest friends, they said it would be a bad idea even for them to bring up. I'm guessing he still carries at least some of that with him, even though it was an accident, but I haven't seen him in a number of years.

Also, don't do chest compressions on someone having a seizure lmao

So the five finger death punch is more then just a meme...interdasting.

I don't think he was having a seizure, this looked like the fencing response. It's a clear sign of brain injury.

Idk ive had about 12 gran mal seizures and thats exactly how my brother (who usually find me in the room) he said i would spazz out and make weird noises. Im just happy i didn't die or become mentally disabled, im on medication for it now

They look similar. With the fencing response, the main thing to watch for is the arm movement.
