Police often claim tasers are non-lethal. If that's that case, wouldn't this shooting be disproportionate?

I don't think a police officer is expected to take a taser. Otherwise, it would be the ultimate tool to use while resisting them.

I'm just saying if you're gonna claim that tasers are non-lethal (in spite of the people who die because of them), then people are going to think using a gun is an overreaction.
