Trans women are men adopting femininity.

But everyone who is feminine adopts femininity, right? Feminists taught me that babies aren't born liking pink and playing with dolls just because of their body parts.

Re intersex people: Dworkin said "The discovery is, of course, that 'man' and 'woman' are fictions, caricatures, cultural constructs. As models they are reductive, totalitarian, inappropriate to human becoming. As roles they are static, demeaning to the female, dead-ended for male and female both. The discovery is inescapable: We are, clearly, a multisexed species which has its sexuality spread along a vast continuum where the elements called male and female are not discrete."

If there is a vocal community of intersex people who disagree with Dworkin, I haven't heard of them.

I would argue that based on the numbers, violence committed by transwomen is worse than violence committed to transwomen.

Do you have a source that says this? It's not mentioned in the article you linked to. That article doesn't seem to be a big fan of me or the rest of the LGBQ part of the LGBTQ community, by the way. Not sure why you cited a writer that hates my community.

The article also counts all hate crimes (including non-violent ones) to prove that hate crime murders don't effect transwomen, which is a rhetorical stretch. It also ignores the fact that hate crimes, even murders, are notoriously underreported by law enforcement. I'm not sure I should trust anything the author says if she's gonna twist sources like that.

If you want a precise definition of sex, you need to account for all kinds of intersex conditions. Don't get mad at me just because you didn't know men could be born with uteri.

Female-specific violence and discrimination happens to women at a way larger scale than it does to men who identify as women.

Isn't that because there are a lot more regular women than than transgendered women? And I imagine normal-looking transgendered women still get harassed as much as normal women.

I suggest reading some dworkin, or lurking on tumblr radical feminist communities

Wasn't Dworkin pro-transgendered? That's the impression I get after some light Googling.

Intersex people are used to defend the idea that sex is fluid etc etc, which is an insult to both intersex people and reproductive dimorphism in species.

How is it an insult? Don't most (or at least a lot) of intersex people not identify as men or women?

Blurring the definition of who is and who isn't abused based on concrete characteristics is dangerous for those who are. JKR did a good bit on this

Rowling mentions her support of MS research and how seeing transgendered women as women might make it harder. But wouldn't intersex people also make that research harder. I mean, they're both such small segments of the population that I doubt it would effect that much. If they do, just study regular men and regular women.

And it's not a word salad. I fortunately only had to look up a couple things (namely remind myself who Dworkin is and looking up "cluster b".)

Any violence and discrimination they recieve we conceptualize as discrimination against gender non-conformity

Aren't trans women who look like regular women also subject to violence and discrimination?

I Googled "queer theory" but can't find a set definition that my dumb brain can understand. It seems like "post-modern" in that regard. The best I can understand is that it's looking at issues through the eyes of gay people instead of just from a straight man's perspective. All the feminists that I know of are pro-gay rights and either are lesbians or support lesbians, so shouldn't feminists be for queer theory? And I don't get what that has to do with intersex people.

Also, as a gay guy with Aspergers, you're gonna have to clarify some stuff in #1.

In contrast, a lot of radfems are for abolishing gender

What are radfems?

Would abolishing gender mean getting rid of separate bathrooms? I have no problem with that, but I'd imagine some women might.

And I know I'm a dude, but I want to emphasize I fully support feminism. Because a) I care about my family and friends who are women and b) I think gay men owe A LOT to women, who have been there for us personally and politically since forever. If I actually thought a broader definition of "woman" would make shit like honor killings, abortion restrictions, sex trafficking, and just general shitty behavior to women worse I'd stop doing it immediately.

Thanks for your patience. Despite what my elementary school teacher said, I do believe there are dumb questions so thank you for answering mine.

BTW: I'm just using "trans women" instead of TIMs, not to upset anyone or to make it seem like I won't change my mind. I'm doing it just because it's easier for me to keep track that way. Call me a bleeding heart liberal, but for now at least I see them as women because (I know this is gender sterotyping) but they just look like women to me.

EDIT: I've listened to enough women to know that we guys kind of ramble, so I apologize for the length.

Then why is there no evidence of this? And why was the Red Army in such shitty condition in 1941?

So this "bankrolling" of communist insurgents consisted of passing a few motions in the Comintern? Why would that necessitate giving the Soviets 200 million marks? Hitler was the industrialist's bitch. They owned him lock, stock, and barrel. To call his critiques of capitalism anything but politicking is naive at best.

Antifa, the same party - active all over the world now, still believes this, and are fighting this battle, even if we aren't.

And is Antifa in the room with us now?

Both intending the entire time to stab the other in the back.

Stalin didn't believe Hitler would break the Pact, according to every historian I've read. The British, Americans, and his own spies warned of the impending attack, but he mostly ignored them. That's why the beginning of Barbarossa was so disastrous for the USSR (and for the numerous civilians murdered by the advancing Germans).

They were funding the radical socialists in France and other areas all throughout the 1930's. I can find citations if you want them

Specifically, I'd like sources that say the USSR gave arms during the 1934 riots.

And let's get to the point, was the USSR more powerful in 1941 or 1945?

No, I'm stating unequivocally that at least today Poland is still the land of the Poles.

I'm not grasping at straws, I'm just being pedantic.

Unrestrained capitalism is and has ever been ass. This is a separate argument[...]

Focus, kid. We're talking about how Hitler and Stalin were allies, not questioning capitalism (which Hitler was a full supporter of after the Night of the Long Knives).

Read the background section of the article you linked me about the 1939 agreement.

Nothing in there claims Hitler and Stalin weren't allies, nor disproves the fact that Germany gave the USSR loans, oil, and other goods.

The revolution was very much alive, and in fact still is.

"This is grasping at straws and you know it."

The soviets were bankrolling insurrections all over Europe [...]

Not during 1939, when the Pact was made and economic cooperation between the USSR and Nazi Germany began.

If you've read anything on Soviet history you know they were planning to invade Europe from the moment they won power.

Yeah, in 1917. Military defeats* since then made them abandon that goal. It wasn't until the failure of Barbarossa that the Soviets got another chance to take over Eastern Europe.

And I know this is a clash of definitions, but since most Soviet citizens lived west of the Ural Mountains, I'd classify the USSR as European. You can't really invade Europe when you ARE in Europe.

When the US, British Empire, and world Jewry started funneling massive loads of money after 1935 to the Soviets that Faustian bargain was struck.

Oh you mean like this?:

These are the faults:

1) It's Soros, not "Soro". Nice dogwhistling, though.

2) It is a reasonable inference, based on polling done by neutral people who know more about public opinion than you or I, that 60% of white Americans support BLM. Maybe if you did a push poll (sorry, push pole) and told everyone that an evil Jew donated to them a few years back then you'd convince them otherwise. Until that happens, however, the fact remains that most Americans support Black Lives Matter.

3) Your recent post is the first time anyone's mentioned anyone being "anarchist", so I'm clearly not "respon[ding] to statements that they are an anarchist group."

4) I know of no BLM organization (and it is more than one organization) that is anarchist. EDIT: Now that I think about it, it's such a broad movement that I wouldn't doubt there's some anarchists involved somewhere. But you haven't shown that the movement in general is "anarchist".

5) Not really a fault, but the sentence beginning with "Where as the link poll" should be rewritten, because I have no idea which poll you're referring to and it's just generally confusing.

6) AOC's main obstacle was a primary challenge, since this is a strongly blue seat.

7) I care about your feeling because I care about you, bro.

By the way, have you actually found any flaws any of the polls I listed? Because if your argument is that Americans aren't progressive, you need to show that they don't hold the opinions these polls say they do.

That armistice took place after three years of war costing three million lives.

The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was an alliance in which (like the later German/Italian/Japanese alliance) split up territory between the powers, allowing the USSR to annex parts of Finland, Poland, and Romania plus all of the Baltic Countries.

The Nazis' incompetent and foolhardy invasion of the USSR allowed it to take over all of Eastern Europe after the war. As a result, it became one of the two most powerful countries in the world. This allowed Marxism-Leninism to spread to various parts of the world, including North Korea, which started the Korean War.

Hitler's thirst for power and his incompetence was arguably responsible for most of those supposed 100 million deaths.

"82 percent of respondents to this poll think wealthy people have too much power and influence in Washington" is a fact.

"82 percent of Americans think wealthy people have too much power and influence in Washington" is a reasonable inference one can gain from that fact.

OP's video expressed shock that AOC won. I'm simply pointing out that many, many, MANY surveys from multiple sources have shown that her positions are in fact extremely popular. Some are even popular among Republicans. Thus her victory is not shocking at all.

This triggered you for some reason and left you unable to respond to these objective facts.

Never believe that anti‐ Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti‐Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past. It is not that they are afraid of being convinced. They fear only to appear ridiculous or to prejudice by their embarrassment their hope of winning over some third person to their side.

Im not a fighter, but I am a supper casual fan, so here’s my guess.

A lot of fighters are conservative. They don’t want to go for a knockout because knockout attempts can be countered and you end up getting knocked out yourself. He knew he was winning, so instead of going for the knockout, he just kept scoring lighter hits.

This situation was really the perfect storm; incompetent officials, coach that cared about winning rather than protecting his fighter, and an opponent that doesn’t go for big hits but multiple, little hits (which is often more dangerous).

By "fatalities/1M inhabitants/km", do you mean that distance traveled would be factored? That makes sense, since if the average Russian drives more than the average, say, Canadian, that seems important to note.

EDIT: This article says the death rate is higher than other First World countries. It suggests the causes are lack of respect for driving laws, a strange custom where you don't move your car after an accident (even if it's in the middle of the road), badly designed pedestrian crossings, and an excessive amount of signs that distract drivers.
