Imagine your legacy after 51 years of life is an online video of you killing yourself doing the dumbest shit

Suspect you're right. Probably didn't feel that long.

Wow, it's weird how they have 0 respect for explosives: Natives included. When I was a kid there was a shitload of now-illegal stuff but both us kids and our parents were always clear with following the rules. Even if they got drunk. If something doesn't explode, you leave it for at least 5 minutes, if it's a big thing you don't go near it at all until at least 30 mins. This was amplified by the snowy winters and wicks not finishing but even then we were never close to any danger.

Man, this is so true, I remember my grandma showing us pictures from a magazine of some kid who had his hand partially blown away from fireworks, after that, there were no safer people in the world when it came to the stuff. And my dad was drunk a lot of those 4th of julys and this is with the super great old school stuff, nary an injury in my childhood.

I learned from Elmer Fudd not to stick your eye down the barrel to see if the bullet is gonna come out.

I bet the firework said "ACME" on the side.

So, lonely, loveless bachelor goes abroad to buy wife. Gets blown, but not how he wanted to. Can't say I have any sympathy. I used to build my own fireworks, never got even slightly burned once. If you don't have any respect for pyrotechnics, they won't have any respect for you.

I thought immediately sprinting away, giggling like an idiot was instinctive.

I didn't read where this was at first but one look at the old white guy with the way younger black haired lady and I had a pretty good idea.

Turns out I wasn't wrong.
