Yeah, he was wearing what would later turned out to be a fake bomb-vest.

Oh well. Unlucky he won't be seen in court, lucky there is one terrorist less, and probably reasonable amount of force used - though ultimately that will be decided by British officials.

I mean, he was seen in court before. He was convicted of terrorism in 2012 and released last year.

Yes, but I'd always prefer a new conviction for a new crime if one does happen. Our system still is based on it.

What is most disappointing about this event, though, is his quite early release from the previous conviction.
