Fun fact. If you don't maintain and invest in oil extraction you can screw up your reserves so it becomes dangerous to access them.

The socialist government just took the money and stopped investing in oil production. This is why their output has fallen, the lost the ability to get the oil out.

It doesn't matter how much oil they have under ground if no one can get it out.

It's like how the CIA couped Iran.... they were socialist. It could have been done better, not putting Muslims in as puppets. sucks to say it was for the best because those idiots wouldn't know how to extract oil. We've tried to coup Venezuela and pressure them with sanctions into stop being so stupid.
