Don’t sweat it. In the event of a nuclear holocaust, you’ll be better off dead. Even if you are not hit directly, that many nukes exploding over targets or intercepted in the air will poison the whole earth. I’d rather go fast than after a few days of agony from radiation poisoning.

I’m skeptical of this map. It’s really only someone opinion of what will happen. For example:

Look at Montana. The map shows all of the nuke silos as targets only in a 2000 bomb attack. Those are the first targets you want to hit…BEFORE those missiles leave their bunkers. I’d suggest that the silos are actually targets in a more limited strike.
