Lots of American products like this are sold in foreign countries and often in exotic flavors designed for the local population. Kind of like fast food chains like McDonalds.

Here's an example: https://www.thetravel.com/awesome-oreo-flavors-only-china/#wasabi

It surprised me to see M&M's in Russia, not because of the flavor, but because of the politics of war. You mentioned McDonald's, which closed its restaurants in Russia. American businesses have been getting out of Russia, but somehow M&M's continue to be sold there.

Oh, I did not know that.

Why? Might be imported, might be the local distributor of M&M doesn't give a fuck. Doesn't seem that strange to me. Like even if the head company said "shut down" to the Russian side, Russian side might just be like, nope gonna stay open and not give a fuck about the head office. What are the Americans gonna do? Sue them for trademark infringement? Lol.

Remember where Fanta came from.

Here's a good way to troll M&M's: post this picture on Twitter.
