3 months and Russia only controls limited Eastern Ukranian territory, I'm going to disagree with Dore's tactical assessment of the situation. This is going way better than anyone realistically expected.

The only issue is there's so much propaganda, people aren't always working with a realistic picture of the situation. Ukraine never had a shot to win, but I never thought they'd hold this long.

I agree even the Russian side are admitting that it didn't go very well in the beginning..

IMO this is due to the fact that Russia didn't go ahead and bomb every bridge, road, water supply, food supply, communication tower.. to bring kiev down on the first week like the US did in Iraq.. They took it easily and tried to have a clean win.. Going on and cleaning it street by street while avoiding civilian casualties..
