The fuck? Sudan was involved in the war in Yemen? I had no idea.

I wonder if this has anything to do with South Sudan splitting from Sudan a few years ago.

Could be. Or there could be a whole large-scale hidden proxy arm of the US military operating through Sudan to work Yemen. Probably somewhere in between our two hypotheses
