I grew up within a twenty-minute drive of Rocky Mount and never heard of a tornado in that area or even in the state. Here's a map: https://data.usatoday.com/tornado-archive/united-states/2023/

It didn't look like tornado damage to me.

For starters, it didn't tear the roof off.

There is so much BS flying around out there right now, that hardly anyone is paying attention to the details. They say lightning and tornadoes never strike the same place twice, because that place isn't there anymore.
