The vote fell almost entirely along party lines, with every voting-eligible House Republican and two Democrats, Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota and Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey, voting against both articles. While Van Drew is expected to switch to the Republican Party in the next week, he voted against both articles as a Democrat.

One Democratic Congressman, Jared Golden of Maine, split his vote in favour of the abuse of power article but against the obstruction article, and Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii voted present on both articles.

That was a smart move by Tulsi Gabbard. I hope she wins the Democratic candidacy.

Well......thats not true. I hope Hillary rises from the dead and wins the Democratic candidacy.

The sad thing is this is not about right or wrong, this is about politics.
