Talk about poor taste. Fin means "the end". Like what happened to her grandfather.

As a name it more commonly means fair-haired/blonde , from the Irish Finn/Fionn. It's funny actually, easy to pronounce in English male Irish names are common tif names, eg Finn, Aidan, Rory.

Well she spelled it "Fin" which you see at the end of a french movie, something she would be familiar with as the daughter of actors. I'm joking of course. Someone this unself-aware probably just thought it sounds cool

Don't be silly, someone doing this wouldn't think about it enough to pick a name with a meaning that's relevant.

Probably just prepping them for when someone else dies so she can come out as a fish.
