That Andrea Long Chu article where he says that "accepting reality is a form of nihilism" is really going to prove itself to be the defining statement of trans ideology. Pure childish denial of anything, no matter how unavoidably real, that makes you feel the slightest discomfort.

These opinion pieces read like loving parents, as patiently and as kindly as possible, reminding their tantrum-throwing obstinate children that they can't always get what they want in life and screaming won't change that. Like they're all so obvious. Everything they're saying is obvious. These brats just don't wanna hear it.
