They said they wanted to talk about games with someone, but instead of talking about games, they talked about being a tranny. Shocker, this person wasn't interested.

These boring fucks need this kind of conflict in their life because their shitty sexual/gender identities are the only personality they have.

Right? Imagine a straight dude going "HL2 Alyx made me realize I have a thing for mulattos".

Like... Ok...?

that's the narc aspect--they have to cross every boundary, dominate every space they're in, practically wallpaper every forum in existence, so that they can wail "stop making it about yourself all the time! I'M the real victim!!!"

reminds me of a good Classical/Byzantine blog that had a bunch of articles on the Hellenic gods or various silly USonian myths about the past--but then for YEARS it was all "my transition (pt. XVII)" and "THERE IS A CHEETO IN THE WHITE HOUSE"--almost nothing else except "2010s US college gender ideology totally existed in every single continent and century of history!!!"

Narcissism is so funny. It's like, okay, you and all your friends all individually think you're the center of the universe, so you all begrudgingly acknowledge each other's constant self-aggrandizing so you can have your turn at it. Anyone outside of the circle risks injuring your ego by reminding you other people exist and have feelings, so you stay in it. What a community.

one good description is seeing everyone else as an NPC in a game or an extra in a play

Last Psychiatrist likened it to treating all your friends like the "girl friend" in a romcom, the "bestie" who gets no plot or interiority of her own. She's just a mechanism for advancing the protagonist through the story.
