We have more demand than ever, because until last year, many people knew nothing about Ukraine, and thought we were a third-world country

I can't help but feel a tiny spike of annoyance at the use of the term "third-world" to describe certain countries these days, because it's completely different from what the original use of the term was.

Yeah but a lot of western people probably did think that.

Point being, because of the war, people have discovered Ukraine as a source of surrogates - a source of slavic babies for sale. And then you see stories like this and you have to wonder.
