Do you expect someone with Sickle Cell Anemia to disclose the fact that they have Sickle Cell Anemia with the people they sleep with? What if you have cancer? MS? Asthma? Arthritis?

This fucking moron completely, and willfully, misses the point that none of that shit is transmissible and will result in a lifetime of (expensive) treatment for the person who gets it. I think all of these treatments for HIV are great, especially for the folks who didn't get it doing stupid, selfish shit, but we can't even do contraception that is 100% guaranteed to never fail. And we've had a lot longer to work on that.

HIV is a virus--it's right there in the fucking name--and viruses love to mutate; look at all of the flavors of Covid that keeping popping up. And if it does that, but people are playing stupid games with going raw and not disclosing their status, just because they're on some pills? Well, there's a new round of HIV outbreaks waiting to happen. Not to mention the utter narcissism of making a decision vital to someone's health on their behalf, simply because you don't want to own up to your status.

interesting to contrast this to the "COVID activism" since it's on the same political "side" so they don't perceive that there even could BE a conflict: it's like how Skeptical societies hold "homeopathy overdoses" but would try and get you fired and divorced for daring to do the same with vaccines, or when one of their gurus starts aging and goes "6 million sounds a bit high, doesn't it?"

I'd love to see an accurate Venn diagram of the people who are rabid Covid doctrine--mask up, boost up, social distance at all times, and lockdown whenever ordered--followers and the people who think it's perfectly fine to conceal their HIV status because their comfort matter more than anything (or anyone) else.
