True in those sorts of cases. Lots of segregation happened, but I think that when you take the exclusively racialist view to such things, (and there are racist elements) , to the exclusion of all other views like the socio economic status gap, you can lose the plot.
The biggest issue I have is that when we find racist elements or the continuing effects of racialist policies and the like that people's answer is to respond with more racism like it's some weird game where you got to balance out the racism, rather than work to get rid of those attitudes. Just foments more racial tension.
