I think his post was mis-typed. From the thread, the kid is already being home-schooled, hence his terrible anti-trans alienation (nothing to do with Dad's litany of self-admitted issues, including hard drug use). Everyone is concluding that the kid is being brainwashed by his mother through home-schooling, so I think he wants the kid in the regular school system, where he will receive a more pro-trans indoctrination.
