Lee says that he knew from the age of four he knew that 'nothing felt right' about his body - but it was only decades later that he confided in his 58-year-old wife Dawn that he wanted to change gender.

He added: 'I always knew I was in the wrong body. My earliest memory of being aware of nothing feeling right was when I was about four but I didn't know what it was.

'Growing up in the 80s there wasn't a lot of stuff about being trans like there is today.

I couldn’t see any other mention of the wife other than that single reference. It’s all me, me, me.

She still looks like a woman.

Also, who's Owen Jones?

who's Owen Jones?

Think of the most annoying person you know, multiply that by twenty, give him a whiny voice, shitty opinions, a pathological reluctance to ever admit he might not know something or he could be wrong and a column in The Guardian and you’ve got Owen Jones.

I thought the pre-transition pictures looked like a dude.

Literally looks like a female comedian doing manface purposely badly for laughs

I think it looks very fake tbh. They gave her the typical cheap transplant 'doll-hair' placement, and real beard hair is very different to what grows on the back of your head, so it doesn't look natural.

Ended up looking like a woman with short hair and a hair transplant. Hope that’s what she was after.

I genuinely thought that exogenous testosterone caused enough facial hair growth to get a bit of a beard going. Lots of transmen seem to have beards. Are they fake?

It does, it just took this one longer than normal so she went and got a hair transplant, but according to the article the testosterone is kicking in now and her facial hair is appearing.

So basically it was just extra attention seeking because her initial attention seeking wasn't making her feel special enough?

he explicitly did this to pass better

wanting to blend in is an opposite of being attention seeking

And seeking attention over this just triggers gender dysphoria
