I don't believe stories like that because she wouldn't have been treated as a man because nobody passes in real life. Some ftms pass in photos but not once you see them moving, talking or around other people where their odd proportions are obvious compared to everyone around them. So she wouldn't have been treated like a man but like someone that was setting off warning bells in the brains of everyone around her. Saying she didn't like being treated like a man was just a delusional coping method.

Let me see if I can find the video. I think she passes as a very small, feminine man.
Here we go. - Obviously crying about how hard it is not to be loved by everyone gives away that she didn't grow up as a man, but otherwise, at a glance? I'd say that's a dude.

That's not real life though. Even with the very tight aspect ratio she looks like she has tiny shoulders that don't go with her head. She will have a woman's gait. People have been shown to be able to identify men and women based on their gait alone. Meeting a person with a man's head on an odd body that it doesn't match, with a woman's gait will make people react unnaturally because even if they can't tell exactly why this person makes them feel uneasy, they will still feel uneasy. Even people with the best of the 'be kind' intentions will react in a closed off manner to someone that they read as being wrong. It's a normal human reaction to oddity. This woman has no idea whatsoever how people react to men. She only knows how they react to women compared to how they react to uncanny valley people.

You might be right, in the full view it might all fall apart. That's why I said it would need to be a very small, feminine man - Because while her face looks pretty masculine, I doubt her frame is the same.

Either way, I say that's pretty good, even if the whole thing ends up being Uncanny Valley when seen in full. You gotta admit, women who become men have it easier than the men trying to become women. One of those looks like an unfortunate man who didn't get enough protein growing up... The other way around it's never quite so easy.

It's easier to add to a smaller thing to make it look bigger than to make a bigger thing look smaller. A man's skeletal proportions are bigger than a woman's. Even an individual woman who is bigger than an individual man will have smaller proportions. So a woman can take testosterone, lift a lot of heavy weights to bulk up her shoulders and grow a beard to hide her female jaw. Which will go some way to disguising the womanliness underneath. But a man can't disguise male shoulders and male jawline as they are bigger than a woman's. The best option transwomen have to pass is to be morbidly obese. 200-300lbs of excess fat will hide a lot.
