I like how they all urge caution and waiting and therapy when someone wants to detransition. Shame they do the opposite when someone wants to become trans.

When your whole cult is based on the holy nature of the sunk cost fallacy, all you can do to keep the followers is run with "you're already in too deep, this is your life now, all you can do is keep going deeper and deeper."

I'm honestly shocked they haven't flat-out go through the looking glass to tell people who want to detransition "if you're really this unhappy, you should probably commit suicide; you get out of your misery and you'll live forever as a martyr for our fight for equality, so we both win."

The sunk cost fallacy is such a huge part of this insanity, it explains why they're so vehement about it and violently attack any and all dissonance. They need their bullshit choice to be the only choice.

Once they realize the emperor has no clothes, or that transition and surgical alterations aren't a magic bullet for happiness, the whole thing falls apart.

Yep I think many of these activists pushing for transition will be the same ones pushing for MAID in a few years

If there's no way of making a guy with vaginoplasty into a guy, one would think there was no way to make a girl into a guy? But logical inconsistencies are very par for the cause with this movement.

Why would you though? You don't make money on the surgery if you get them to back out. Plus you can just keep making money afterwards off of the complications and therapy. And hell if they want to try to go back with another risky surgery, that's even more money.
