I don't know, it seems like it's the direct consequence of the more insane trends of radical feminist theory.

Rad fems had a tendency to try to promote a kind of insane, post biology form of equality, not one that is promoting female empowerment through self determination, but one that seems to be focused on oppression theory where women are mad at the universe for the limitations that biology has placed on them, to the point they kind of like to pretend it doesn't exist, go after institutions to get them to get rid of any sexual distinctions whatsoever, and while initially that comes down to male only spaces getting forced to allow women in them, the obvious consequence of that is, once the sexual differences have become removed from institutional thought and sex becomes a opt in affair, it seems only logical that female only spaces would be next to be targeted.

I think the problem essentially comes down to a denial of reality. I've had a rather heated argument with a feminist once who just utterly denied the concept that, in the context of business, since women are capable of pregnancy, statistically as a whole there will be less labor value derived from women than men since women who get pregnant will have more down time. Not an argument against maternity leave and the like, there's good arguments for and against it, but simply a factual observation of a sex based difference in how men and women aren't essentially "the same" across the board. The feminist I was discussing this with simply refused to awknoledge this, even though they knew it was true, they had an utterly illogical view of life colored by their own moral positions. They thought morality determines reality, and since ideally women and men should be equal, that means that they are equal, except they are clearly not or you wouldn't be fighting for their equality. It's illogical and inconsistent but doesn't matter, much like with the trans ideology now anyone who starts to point out problems with it is an enemy lumped in with the worst examples of crazy people.

I just think once you go all in on an emotionally driven ideological morality determines reality mindset. There's nothing to be done, whomever has the most passionate and loudest opinion controls the ideology then. But reality doesn't actually change. This is why it's often referred to as a religion since it tends to follow the same kind of mindset that "I know the truth I will interpret reality to fit it" an anti-scientific method of approaching it.
