You think they do that with therapy? lol.

Americans are the only ones obsessed with therapy and look at your crime rates.

No they do it with social pressure and telling people where they will end up if they don't change.

It might seem soft to you because other countries use prison as punishment rather than revenge like the US, there's a difference.

Social pressure, nor not rehabilitating (lesser crimes) criminals won't make society better. If you keep them in a cycle, they'll just continue doing what they know. Especially if they're from a lower class with no resources.
