I think that it used to be that most people didn't choose to be trans. I think that the vast majority of today's troons are mentally ill narcissists whose life goals are to control others, no matter the cost to themselves.

Actual people who just want to pretend they're the other sex and keep their bullshit to themselves I have no particular problem with. That group is vanishingly small though.

They keep confusing narratives.

You don't choose to have gender dysphoria. You choose to be trans.

The peer pressure into getting a transition if you have any little sight of gender dysphoria is the problem.
