Plus they can just do it anyway. So you don't want to have sex? Ok whatever. So what? Find a spouse who also doesn't want to have sex, and live together happily married in a way that appears no different to anyone else unless you go out of your way to do so. Or simply don't get married and live happily alone.

Aesexual married to another aesexual and want kids? Great you can do that to. Have sex and don't enjoy it. Oh my god so terrible. It's like, how horrible that you have to do something you like aren't totally psyched about to get something you want, surely this is a great oppression up there with the great horrible oppressions like having to watch commercials on TV or having to take your shoes off at airport security on the way to your southern island vacation. IVF would also work. ("Fun" fact: Apparently, in a decade it will be possible to get a baby without a woman being pregnant due to a machine that provides nutrients to a fertilized egg, etc. )

It is way more than a decade away. Artificial wombs are such a regulatory and bioethics and liability nightmare that, even if it were possible, there is no guarantee that they would be available for actual use.

I actually think we are about a decade or two away from a surrogacy agency/surrogate being sued by the child they sold and the entire surrogacy house of cards coming tumbling down.

Yeah people have been saying it's about a decade away for about a century now.

I'd assume the idea is within the realm of possibility but I seriously doubt it will be developed within our lifetimes, perhaps merely as a prototype.

There's also the simple fact that there's little economic reason to do so.

There's also adoption. Not for everyone but if you're that against sex then that's an option.
