Only had to read the title to know what book the they/them was complaining about. Naturally one genderspecial makes a fuss and it's news. And the local queer organization is using this incident as an excuse to sell their "inclusivity" training.
I've read the book, I never found anything hateful. Abigail Shriver bent over backwards to be compassionate and even-toned. The queer group wants libraries to only promote material in line with their 'values'. I would think the free expression of ideas and a rejection of censorship is a core value.

Yeah, none of the books, Abigail Shrier’s, Deborah Soh’s, Helen Joyce’s or Douglas Murray’s is hateful in the slightest.
