The rhetoric of this group basically mirrors the Alt-Right in its militancy. Their political enemies are trying to 'genocide' them. People who don't share their beliefs need to be cancelled and censored because it is literal violence against them. With this kind of rhetoric I have absolutely zero surprise that we are seeing a member of this community going on a mass shooting. The right-wing news media is retarded, but the trans activist community really is a bunch of political extremists with very dangerous rhetoric. I don't 'want to attack trans people', I was on their side until they started becoming a militant extremist group. I want them to stop attacking other people and stop using rhetoric that is a mirror image of literal Nazi's and I'll go back to supporting their right to do what they want to do to their own bodies - granted they leave other people the fuck alone in the same way they are asking to be left alone

I've always said I respect your freedom to be who you want to be as long as you respect my freedom not to respect you.

I don't want to control other people's lives. I will tell them I think they are stupid if they are doing things I don't agree with. That doesn't mean I hate them. If I hated them I'd just let them do the stupid shit they want to do and suffer for it.

Like I'd not tell someone I hate that I think they'll be unhappy if they do something to themselves. If I hated them I'd tell them to do that thing. I don't understand why that's so hard for people to understand.
