People who like to keep things organized are ones that have respect for themselves and their spaces. If someone is saying that not being a messy slob that lives in a pigsty with organization rivalling the local dump, especially in a kitchen that contains perishible items intended for consumption has connotations of being "racist" and "sexist" it pretty much tells you what they think of the people they believe they are defending.

You can look at the article and see it's basically typical feminist infighting. Some white chick with a college degree is whining about how traditional house wife types want to show off their pantries to each other on social media. Yawn. Snooze fest. The official position of the Patriarchy is that pantries are boring as fuck. We want to watch football. This lady should instead write and article pontificating on the wonderful acceptance of queer agriculture as it is portrayed via buff men playing with balls in an open meadow frolicking among the dandelions while giving each other permanent concussive brain injuries in a wonderful display of the queer feminist ideal.

Speak for yourself.

As a working bachelor I appreciate anything that will streamline, optimize and min-max my house.

Go for it mate! If you're into min maxing your pantry organizational skills more power to you.

I'm saying that caring about this, like "I'm going to write an article about it" at all, is pretty dumb. Like aren't there better things to study in college? Unless we've got some magical new money making grift of pantry studies. Intersectional pantry studies mind you. I guess just like how you can learn a lot from animals by what's in their shit you can learn a lot about a woman by what's in her pantry.

For me I go more for the "ground zero of a terrorist bombing" look for mine.
