Lol no this isn't how it works.

Capitalism exploits narcissism for profit. Capitalism might try to create new needs to exploit for profit, sure. But need, narcissism, all the ugly negatives of human society exist as a part of human society. This is why the communist experiment basically failed, it was filled with a bunch of retarded utopian thinkers that thought that something like selfishness can be eliminated from society if only we got rid of those pesky oppressors.

Capitalism becomes a big problem when it's allows to run unreigned and driven only by the profit motive to the expense of society and the individual good to the complete ignorance of moral good.

But if you think it's creating the narcissists I doubt you've much experience with them. They'll always find ways to make everything about them regardless. The main difference in a capitalistic system is that there are plenty of amoral profit seekers keen on exploiting them.

I agree, I didn't mean to say capitalism creates narcissism. But the way it exists now is being fed by it. There's a machine in place to validate it.

Yeah it definitely creates the profit incentive to not only exasperate the issue of narcissism but to also make it difficult to deal with since someone now profits off it and doesn't want it to go away.
