That’s what I thought this thread was about, I scoured the linked page for some wokery.

The trouble with English dictionaries is that they don’t define rules for language but simply report usage, so as the usage of a word changes so will the definition. The woke try to force their changes and this should be resisted, but if “pass” is being used for your definition, then it should be added as a (2). Where I absolutely object is any attempt to delete the existing meaning which should remain as (1).

It's fine to add extra definitions to reflect the change in usage but the problem comes down to politically motivated changes.

Granted we probably aren't that far off of someone making a specifically anti-woke dictionary.

Ironically, I just watched a video of a woman who had transitioned to male only to end up feeling actual body dysphoria and de-transitioning. Unfortunately for her, she said as soon as she returned to representing as her biological sex, people thought she was a trans woman, lol. Scary thing she says is that she just went to get counseling for general depression and anxiety, feeling a sense that she didn't belong. She went to Planned Parenthood to get some help and they immediately said, "you're trans!" and prescribed her testosterone, which was filled the next day. No counseling, non consultation, no confirmation, just immediately diagnosed as trans. Now she's stuck with a deeper voice that she hates and isn't sure will ever go back to normal.

Let these people learn that human bodies aren’t smart phones. You can’t just reset them to factory defaults if you don’t like what they are doing after you messed with things you shouldn’t have.
