Lets face it, a lot of gay men are just selfish arseholes and they see trans as a trojan horse to get their dodgy stuff socially accepted (bad behaviour, sexual incontinence, kink, misogyny, victimhood narrative, and let's not talk about the kids) just as much as the troons are using gay people.
