I checked this out when last year's NB winner was whining about not getting prize money and he was so slow he was behind over 1000 men and about 100 women. It's so fucking stupid that the marathon has capitulated to giving them prize money. So now there is prize money for the best few men, the best few women and a few utter dickhead men who are worse than a significant number of women but who are good at throwing their toys out of their prams. There was even a case a month or so back where the mother of an AFAB NB praised marathons for having an NB category but suggested they should have two NB categories as the AFAB NBs can never win in the NB category.
