I'll tell you i'm in a verified discord that surprisingly has a lot of gay people in it, and nobody was talking about this movie.For all the hype surrounding the "First openly gay"character there wasn't any hype from gays.

Black women have the highest self-esteem of any group and white women one of the lowest.

It seems low representation is a psychological benefit and protection rather than a problem which needs solving.
