a woman is a social role the parameters of which are determined by anyone choosing to take on that role and anyone can choose to take it on, making them a woman simply through their adoption of it, regardless of how well they actually perform that role (which again doesn't have any defined parameters or boundaries, society simply has to perceive you as taking on that role)

This is what postmodernism does to your brain. Actual fucking brain rot.

Can people choose to either be the impregnator or the impregnatee?

No. So is the whole concept bullshit? Well you can choose whether to wear the pants or the dress.

So really what they are arguing is that women are dresses and makeup and shopping addictions. In other words, sexist drivel.

Nothing wrong with being sexist. There is something wrong with playing make believe until you die.

Sexist drivel is the reason this catches on. A man who likes dressing up in feminine clothing isn't any less of a man than a woman who doesn't want to deal with her make up in the morning and wears jeans is less of a woman.

Privilege is the reason it catches on. Men who want the privilege women have start larping.
