LOL and the writing responded by giving her nothing to do in the third one. that's what you get when you don't want to be a hero in a story about heroes.

Never watched the final film, never will.

They had one chance to make something great with the cast of the originals and they fucked it up, and the sad thing is they had a trilogy ready to go with the original Timothy Zahn Thrawn Trilogy….just needed minimal changes to take into account the main characters’ ages. It would have set up stuff like Rogue Squadron, introduced Mara Jade (who could have had an amazing series based on her Emperor’s Hand days) and all sorts of interesting characters and premises. Fuck Kathleen Kennedy. Oh and she’s going to kill Indy and replace him with Fleabag!

The destruction of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Star Trek really is cultural vandalism.

Man, I'm not much of SW nerd, but even I get a bit giddy at the thought of having the Thrawn trilogy made into movies, those were some fucking amazing books. Instead, we got Mary Sue Skywalker, Severus Solo, and an insufficiently-cooked Emperor clone...

i mean i love fleabag but i didn't watch that show for the rope tricks and action setpieces. in fact there weren't any.

I liked Fleabag, but it's very much become a case of it going on to ruin future media, because now every show with a female lead thinks it needs to be Fleabag and none of them actually have the script to pull it off

Like, did Jane Austen really need the Fleabag treatment?
