Just watched the first episode of She-Hulk and I think it might be the first good woke show!!

The entire scene itself is dogshit. Hulk gets cut and dribbles a bit of blood on her and suddenly she turns into she hulk. Her entire origin story takes about five minutes

There's was some talk about a buffy reboot and you just know theyre going to make Buffy or Willow black. I would really appreciate a new Buffy show if they followed the new comics coming out. I read a few of them and they're really good

I haven't watched it either but I've heard it just wasn't very good and was also very cheap looking. The showrunner herself came out and complained that Netflix put too much emphasis on the fact that its about lesbians but in this age of identity politices can you really blame them?

The Nick Fury situation is a wee bit different because a black version of him has existed since around 2001 I believe. But I think your point still stands in that a bit of race swapping or gender swapping is fine, but it always only seems to go one way

Yeah the thread was real weird in the case of this trans that killed himself. All the downvoted comments were like "omg mental health problems are so common in the trans community. They really need our support". It was like they couldn't handle the mere mention of associating mental health with being trans
