Growing up I had a fairly uncommon name. But not too uncommon no one else had it. Anyway, it wasn't until highschool there was another girl in my school with the same name as me. And she was absolutely gorgeous. I'd hear my name around school and of course people were taking about her. It just made me feel like even less of a person, and I don't even know why. When I had a class with her, whenever I heard my name it was never directed towered me. People would be like Hey "Olivia" when she came to class, but when I walked in, it was dead silence. IDK. I guess seeing an attractive person with my name just made it so glaringly obvious how differently the world interacts with me as an ugly person. Just something I'd share. Has anyone had any similar thoughts or feelings.
