The idea that peoples outside of Europe had no concept of hereditary or how babies are made until they were contacted by Europeans is one of the most bigoted things I've ever heard but somehow its ~progressive. I mean the Arabian horse breed has centuries of carefully kept pedigrees in Arabic but lol no one knew where babies come from b4 Europeans!
