In 2004, my boss at Charlex, aka CHRLX, was the Alex in Charlex (Charlie left), founded with the first MTV ads, etc. - anyway, Alex's dad was a rich very old Jew who lived in the Dakota, where Yoko lived and where John Lennon was shot by more bullets than the gun contained (again), in the trinity of black ops (with Reagan and the Pope). I'm pretty sure Alex's dad has passed on and I'm guessing Alex and/or his family inherited it. I have mixed feelings about him but was glad for the learning experience and exposure, however brief, to glimpse some of how it all plays out. Many people, even if the get to a big city, rarely if ever get the chance to interact, even if peripherally, with the upper crust.
