In a vacuum, I'd say you're right, but the way Reddit and other private platforms have been treating unpopular speech for the past decade or so is representative of a troubling cultural shift in the mainstream that is definitely worth talking about just as much as joblessness and the general economic downturn.

Full disclosure, I'm not a superstraighter, but I am enjoying the shit they're stirring up.
