YouTube to start warning users when their comments "may be offensive to others"

I have spent thousands of hours on youtube but I never once thought of signing up. Just take what you want and go is the logical thing.

Doesn't google mail account automatically work with YouTube? There was a time when all internet services were accepting only mail addresses from the big tech alliance. The ones you couldn't get without a phone. For safety.

I don't know? I don't use google stuff, the only Big tech I am signed up for is Ebay and Paypal and they haven't bothered my though one has my PH number. That's ok with me, it's just shopping and I get the security aspect. In a decade or so of Ebay I have never been ripped off once. Plenty of attempts, but the paypal system so favors buyers it's like a no lose.

But they will continue to mix in sexually explicit content with children's cartoons.

And they will still continue to use the children's cartoons to push advertising.

I always wondered what kind of person bothers to write YouTube comments. They're just hard to follow. I might see top ones 5% of the time.
