I agree on this. To me, Saidit is kind of like spoiling your ballot or voting for a third party during elections. There's a low possibility you're going to create any societal change by your actions, but it's a principled move and you're going to be able to sleep better by having done it.

This is a good point.

There are people on reddit literally posting comments to save the world or solve real crimes and shit.

I'm sure we have the odd crazy who thinks they are going to bring about their aryan utopia by shit posting on saidit but the fact this site is mostly just about talking is major plus for this place.

society is headed in a very predictable and predetermined direction. there is no changing that direction. it’s nice to have a place to talk about the fact that there is no changing that direction.
