Just stop watching the news for a while, it's bad for your mental health right now. Stop giving a shit about the state of the country or the world. Get a hobby, spend time with your loved ones.

I see it on Bing all the time which leads me to ask: Anyway to disable it from sneaking up on me each time I Bing something? I have dumped Google along time ago except for hard to find PC games from Archive.Org as Archive has a f'ed internal search and Binging them are hit and miss.

I have no idea, I'm not that tech savvy or familiar with Bing.

I agree with you that phones killed the internet, it used to be a lot more fun and less dumb.

Windows 8 was the final straw when they pushed that Metro UI crap and effectively scared a lot of users away. Most businesses held onto XP and eventually Pro 7 when XP was internally killed: On Amazon you can see a lot of Windows 7 PRO Optiplex machines most are a piece of crap as you cannot find replacement parts these days since all the comp stores are practically gone. Frys we always got parts and had a lot of old computers refixed almost like new and a few times build our own.
