Would it be possible to get “awards” and have “badges” displayed in our profile for earning or unlocking these “achievements”, or rewards, purely for aesthetic & nostalgic reasons, but possibly to add to site functionality/quality too?

If a subsaidit chooses to cater to insecure persons who need digital "rewards" to feel better about themselves, whatever. But site wide? I hope not!!! I've seen my country devolve to cater to (and in effect, promote everyone devolving to) lowest common denominator, thanks, and I hate it! True self esteem is within and isn't dependent on useless awards, IMO. I wish to read ideas and opinions from REAL people, not from the squishy brains of the lazy and weak minded. Edit: wording
